Home2 Suites By Hilton Comes to Atlanta

McKibbon Hospitality, an award-winning and recognized hotel developer, owner and manager based in Tampa, Fla., announced the opening of its 85th hotel in their management portfolio, Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Downtown.

The Home2 Suites by Hilton, located at 87 Walton St NW, Atlanta, GA, 30303, is within walking distance to attractions including the world-famous Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN Center, Philips Arena, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park.

McKibbon Hospitality also announced the hiring of its leadership team for the new Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Downtown with the appointment of Chrissy Wadsworth, general manager; Donna Lemon, assistant general manager; and David Van Tassell, director of sales. Wadsworth has more than 16 years of experience working in hotel management for brands including TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Hampton Inn and more. Donna Lemon, assistant general manager, boasts ten years of experience in a range of hospitality positions. The director of sales, David Van Tassell, brings 16 years of sales experience in the Atlanta market to the team.

The Home2 Suites by Hilton Downtown Atlanta is an adaptive reuse property. The historic building was designed by architect P. Thornton Marye and originally opened as an office building in 1917. The hotel retains the building’s historic look and architecture with terrazzo floors and marble stairs.
