Kaiser Permanente Names Kimberee Phelps Vice President of Quality
Kimberee Phelps has been promoted to vice president of quality after serving as interim quality leader for the last three months

Kaiser Permanente, one of America’s leading health care providers and not-for-profit health plans, today announced Kimberee Phelps has been promoted to vice president of quality after serving as interim quality leader for the last three months.
Kimberee began her career at Kaiser Permanente in 1998 as a clinical supervisor. Since that time, she has held roles of increasing responsibility, including senior director, primary care services; director, area operations; director, medical office administration; and assistant administrator of adult medicine.
In her new role, her responsibilities include quality leadership/integration, population health, patient safety/risk management, HEDIS/CAHPS, health education, regulatory, accreditation/ licensing functions and more.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, she worked in nursing leadership and quality assurance at several local hospitals. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Georgia State University in Atlanta and a master’s in organizational management/leadership from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minn.
