Ludacris Announces LudaFamDay, An Annual Atlanta Family Event

Rapper and actor Chris Bridges, aka, Ludacris, announces LudaFamDay In Atlanta.

ATLANTA, GA -- Rapper and actor Chris "Ludacris" Bridges on Thursday announced a "unity celebration" called LudaFamDay, a one-day event that will be part of his charity weekend. Bridges made the announcement with Forest Park State Rep. Valencia Stovall in conjunction with AmbitiousX.

Activities on tap for LudaFamDay include live performances, health screenings, a kids zone and much more.The day will also be a community initiative where music will be used to achieve social good. The theme of the day is unity, health and wellness.

"The family is the foundation of our communities and our communities are the foundation of our great city. LudaFamDay was created with this in mind and it is the biggest give back of the charity weekend," Ludacris said.

Also launched at the event will be the ambitiousX IDEAS challenge, where community leaders can submit ideas for a chance to win a $50,000 grant from the Walton Family Foundation to revitalize blighted neighborhoods and public schools in southeast Atlanta.

"As a native of southeast Atlanta, I'm excited to be a part of the LudaDay Weekend and partner with the Ludacris Foundation and ambitiousX to bring awareness to top issues impacting Atlanta while providing a family fun filled experience", Stovall said.
