Morehouse AD Robbed By Woman He Met On Craigslist: Report

Morehouse athletic director robbed by woman he met on Craigslist, who told him, "Baby, I'm sorry​, I just needed some money for my kids."

ATLANTA, GA --Morehouse College's athletic director was robbed recently during a Craigslist meet-up with a woman, according to news reports. Last week, officers responded to a call in the 600 block of Lees Mill Road to find Andre Pattillo "very sweaty, out of breath and only wearing gym shorts," WXIA-TV reports.

Pattillo invited a woman inside his home after meeting her on Craigslist, according to multiple reports. One inside, Pattillo went to lie down in his bed, but he noticed that his front door was open, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The woman said that she may have left the door open after going out to retrieve something. Police said that's when a man came into the bedroom aiming a gun at Pattillo, the newspaper reports. The woman then reportedly told him, “Baby, I’m sorry, I just needed some money for my kids.”

Another man appeared and the trio began to take things from the home, according to WXIA. A witness told authorities that she saw two men, one of whom carried a book bag, run into the woods.

A phone, laptop, bank card and Glock 9mm were among the items reported missing from the home. No suspects have been identified in the case, according to the AJC.
