New MARTA Fares October 2nd

Fulton County Commissioner Emma Darnell is reminding District 5 residents of the MARTA fare increase next month. 

Beginning Sun., Oct. 2, the cost of a regular one-way ticket will rise from $2.00 to $2.50. 

In addition, commuters who regularly use the service will see a nearly 40 percent increase. The cost of a weekly pass has gone from $17 to $23.75.
