Official release celebration June 9 at Loews Hotel.
Dear Cascade Patch:

The official release event is Thursday, June 9, at the Loews Hotel Atlanta.

With me will be Phil Davis (my producer, who was raised in southwest Atlanta), Che Marshall, Tre Gilbert, and Ryan Whitehead. CDs will be available that night, and afterwards at cdbaby.com.
This is the 5th project that Phil and I have done together. "Katharsis" takes me back to the jazz roots where I started, but has music stylings that will appeal to everyone.

Break-out tunes include "Date Night," “All the Love You Need,” and "Don't Let it Die," a tribute to the contributions of jazz greats. I co-wrote seven of the 11 tunes on the CD with either Phil Davis or Kenny Banks (who is a staff musician/choir director at Cascade UMC), and this makes the 4th project on which I've work with both of these two very talented, Atlanta-based musicians.
I’ll also be a Main Stage artist at Centennial Park for the National Black Arts Festival at 3 p.m., Sun. July 17.
