Spelman Presents BLACK BOX: The Possibilities
Filmmaker Will Feagins, Jr. shares his latest project, which encourages viewers to redefine their childhood dreams

As children we are often told that our futures are full of infinite possibilities, but as we get older, society’s rules and standards make many of us question those beliefs. Occasionally we need to be reminded of our childhood dreams. Indie documentary filmmaker, Will Feagins, Jr. will share and discuss excerpts from his latest project, The Possibility of Her, which addresses hanging on to, pursuing, and occasionally redefining what’s possible.
The film screening will take place during The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art’s exhibition-related program titled Black Box: Will Feagins, Jr. | The Possibilities. Black Box allows artists to indulge in a moment of vulnerability in a site designed for play, dialogue, and creative risk taking. It also provides a space for art enthusiasts to view compelling work from some of the most exciting and thought-provoking artists working today. With an emphasis on the art and culture of the African Diaspora, Black Box offers a complex lens in which to view multiple facets of artistry.
This BLACK BOX event is organized in collaboration with the BronzeLens Film Festival of Atlanta, Georgia.
