World Conference of Mayors Partners with MSM’s Satcher for Community Wellness

In an announcement released by Morehouse School of Medicine, we learn of the following event happening on Thursday morning, 12/5.

Morehouse School of Medicine’s (MSM) Satcher Health Leadership Institute (SHLI) in partnership with the World Conference of Mayors (WCM) will host a dialogue on Thursday, December 5, 2013 entitled, “Mayors Forum: A Call to Action to Empower and Sustain Healthy Communities,” at the National Center for Primary Care on the campus of Morehouse School of Medicine from 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. 

SHLI Executive Director and Former U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher, M.D., Ph.D. will lead this conference to collaborate, stimulate and support positive and constructive relationships between mayors and other officials to drive the health and wellness needs of their communities.

- Mayor James Walls of District Heights, Maryland, CEO WCM

- Mayor Johnny Ford of Tuskegee, Ala., Founder, WCM
