Amazon Delivers $40K Scholarships To Forsyth County Seniors
Two Forsyth County seniors were two of 100 nationwide and five from GA to win an Amazon Future Engineer scholarship and paid internship.
CUMMING, GA — Georgians are used to Amazon delivering just about anything you can imagine. But it's not every day that Amazon delivers a scholarship.
That's how Forsyth Central High School senior Ethan Ma and North Forsyth High School senior Michael Stamey received their $40,000 Amazon Future Engineer scholarships earlier this month — carried by one of Amazon's electric Scout units.
The students are two of 100 nationwide to receive this scholarship in 2021, according to an Amazon news release. In addition to paying $40,000 over four years for a college education, the scholarship comes with a paid internship at Amazon after their freshman years.

Ma and Stamey are two of five Amazon Future Engineer scholarship winners this year from Georgia. The others are Sierra Frisbee from The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology; Etimfon Bassey of Cedar Grove High School; and Yoanna Turura of Grayson High School.
