Cumming Fair Concerts, Events Set for This Week

Don Williams and Kellie Pickler concerts, free admission, and chainsaw carving and bull riding are on tap this week in Forsyth County.

The Cumming County Fair & Festival, which began Oct. 3, ends this week with several events and specials on tap through Sunday, Oct. 13, according to the city.

Started in 1995 with a five-day event, the fair has grown to 11 days. The final week of the 2013 Cumming County Fair & Festival is set to include several opportunities for free admission and concerts.

It all happens at 235 Castleberry Road in Cumming. Here are the details:


Hours 

  • Monday through Thursday: 4 to 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 4 p.m. to midnight
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to midnight
  • Sunday: 12:30 to 9 p.m.


Regular Admission and Parking Prices

  • Adults: $7
  • Students (ages 5 to 18): $3
  • Kids age 4 and younger: Free
  • Parking, including handicap: $3


Daily Specials, Events and Concerts

  • Monday, Oct. 7: Student Night is free for all students 18 and under.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 8: Don Williams in Concert at 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 9: Admission is free, compliments of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Day.
  • Thursday, Oct. 10: Kellie Pickler concert at 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 11: Football Friday Night offers free admission after 9 p.m. with a high school football ticket stub.
  • Saturday, Oct. 12: Chainsaw Carving at 7 p.m. and American Bull Riders Tour at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 13: Closing Day, free student admission and rides with this coupon (18 and younger). and American Bull Riders Tour at 6 p.m.

  • Monday, Oct. 7: $15 Unlimited Rides
  • Tuesday, Oct. 8: $18 Unlimited Rides
  • Wednesday, Oct. 9: $18 Unlimited Rides
  • Thursday Oct. 10: $18 Unlimited Rides
  • Saturday Oct. 12: $25 Unlimited Rides
  • Sunday Oct. 13: FREE Student Admission and Rides with Coupon (18 and younger) from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
