Day Care Field Day in Forsyth Set For June 22

CUMMING, GA -- Forsyth County Parks & Recreation is hosting its annual Day Care Center Field Day soon.

The event, for children ages 5 and up, is set for Wednesday, June 22, from 10 a.m.-noon at Fowler Park in Cumming.

Kids will participate in a variety of field-day style events, including relays, sack races and running races.

The county's Parks & Recreation department has been offering the annual field day for more than 10 years, in an effort to provide a fun event that also promotes health and wellness.

Day care centers in Forsyth County May register for the field day through Friday, June 17.

The fee to register is $50 per center, and includes activities and awards.

There is no limit to how many children may participate from each center.

Check-in for the field day begins at 9:45 a.m. If weather is a concern, activities will be canceled and day care centers will receive a full refund.
