Growing manufacturing company looking for an experienced estimator to support a sales staff of 4 employees. The right candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be HIGHLY organized and able to manage in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of order process flow and printing industry also preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

·Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of print vendors that best match the demands of the business

·Serving as the printing expert for all print products

* Serving as the liaison between print and production vendors and the TGE team by communicating all production schedules, deadlines, due dates, and return dates

·         Bidding each new piece of business to secure the vendor who offers the most competitive pricing and the highest quality

·         Collecting and processing estimates for all outsourced products on behalf of the TGE team

·         Working with the sales and client services teams to prepare formal quotes and estimates for current and prospective clients

·         Providing project estimates and pricing estimates for various types of marketing collateral

·         Researching and evaluating print and other outside production vendors

Requirements

·         Preference of 3-5 years of experience in the printing industry, print buying, vendor negotiations, or purchasing

·         Proven success in developing solid vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and comparing and evaluating bids

·Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly

·History of effectively developing and maintaining cost-control measures

·Positive, energetic personality and an ability to remain flexible with changing requests

·High level of accuracy and an eye for detail

·Knowledge of EFI/Print Smith preferred
