Forsyth YMCA Hosts Healthy Kids Day On Saturday

The free, family-friendly festival will offer music, games, food and a chance to learn how to adapt to an active lifestyle.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA -- Before summer is here, the Forsyth County Family YMCA is hosting Healthy Kids Day, a free festival to celebrate healthy kids, healthy families and healthy communities.

Around metro Atlanta, 18 YMCA locations will feature games, activities, inflatables, food and fun.

The Forsyth County Family YMCA will host the event at Denmark High School - Practice Field, 645 Mullinax Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.

The event will feature:

  • Kids obstacle course and Inflatables
  • Teddy Bear Hospital - bring your favorite stuffed animal
  • Bike safety station with helmet checks
  • Concussion evaluations
  • Healthy refreshments and smart snacks
  • Petting zoo
  • Climbing walls

In collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Y is offering a coupon for free swim lessons to the first 100 children in attendance at Healthy Kids Day.

Additionally, if you become a Y Member at Healthy Kids Day, the organization will waive your joining fee, a savings up to $100.
