Georgia 'Superheroes' Raise $60K for Children's Strong4Life Movement

Saturday event benefited group that helps Georgia's kids and families get healthier and stronger through school and provider training programs, community partnerships and public awareness.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning as more than 1,900 superheroes came out to Atlanta's Piedmont Park to take part in Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s second annual Strong4Life Superhero Sprint

The event raised more than $60,000 benefiting Children's Strong4Life movement - which helps Georgia's kids and families get healthier and stronger through school and provider training programs, community partnerships and public awareness.

In addition to the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, the event also included a costume contest, with “super” judges David Pollack, Chesley McNeil and C.J. Stewart.
