Humane Society Of Forsyth County Awarded Petco Grant
The $45,000 grant will extend efforts to save more animal lives in greater Forsyth County area.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — The Humane Society of Forsyth County (HSFC) has been awarded a $45,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support its lifesaving work with animals.
The Petco Foundation investment will help provide funding for daily care, medical treatments, and supplies needed to support proper vetting of animals prior to adoption, including necessary surgical procedures. The grant also provides for puppies and kittens who come into the shelter in need. Since 1999, the Foundation has invested more than $250 million in lifesaving animal welfare work.
“We are grateful for the generous grant provided by the Petco Foundation,” said Vicki Rennick,
President of HSFC. “As an independent, non-profit, this grant allows us to strengthen and increase our rescue work for animals to give them a second chance.”
