Lane Closures On State Route 400 For Widening Project

CUMMING, GA - Paving operations began Wednesday on State Route 400 southbound between State Route 20 and Peachtree Parkway from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. This work will require single lane closures and will continue Thursday, April 19, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.

Friday's work will have crews in the lanes at 7 p.m. and lane closures will continue throughout Saturday and Sunday.Lanes will open back to traffic Monday at 5 a.m.Motorists are reminded that this will reduce State Route 400 to one lane during this paving work. Exact dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
