Last Chance: Junior Service League Poinsettia Sale Ends Friday
Proceeds from the sales will benefit Cumming and Forsyth County school teachers by way of grants to fund supplemental enrichment projects in the classroom.

The Junior Service League of Forsyth County can make your holidays brighter with holiday poinsettias from Dixie Green Growers, and it's for a good cause.
Proceeds from the sales will benefit local school teachers through the JSL Teacher Grant Program, Teacher Grants for Excellence in Education. Each year, the nonprofit offers grants—in amounts up to $400—to teachers in Forsyth County so they may have the opportunity to fund supplemental enrichment projects in the classroom, according to JSL's website.
The annual sale happens September through November, and in 2013 wraps up with final orders accepted through Friday, Nov. 8.
JSL offer four poinsettia colors—red, white, pink and marble—in the following sizes at the listed price:
- 6-inch, 3 to 5 blooms: $9 each;Â
- 8-inch, 8-plus blooms: $17 each; andÂ
- 10-inch, 10-plus blooms: $20 each.
