Lions Club and MSG Foundation Partner To Collect Winter Clothing

Coats, gloves, and socks needed for distribution to local homeless and low-income families this winter season.

CUMMING, GA – The Forsyth County Lions Club is proud to announce its first annual partnership with the Marcus and Sharon Gunter Foundation (MSG) on MSG’s annual “Coats, Socks & Gloves” campaign to provide winter clothing to local homeless and low-income residents.

The campaign will run from October 31st through November 26th.

MSG is asking the public for donations of lightly used coats and gloves and new pairs of socks. The Lions Club will be accepting donations on MSG’s behalf at Ball Tax Service, 3330 Dr. Bramblett Road, Cumming, GA.

Sharon Gunter, MSG program director and CFO, said, “The Lions Club has always been there for us and we appreciate their partnering with MSG to provide winter clothing to local residents who would otherwise go without.”

Lions Club president Jon Casteel said, “MSG and the Lions have worked together for several years to serve those less fortunate in our community and we (Lions) are honored to partner with them (MSG) on their annual Coats, Socks, and Gloves campaign.”

The Marcus and Sharon Gunter Foundation is a Cumming, Georgia based non-profit organization providing food and support to homeless and hungry Forsyth County residents.
