In Loving Memory of William John Curtis, 83

William John Curtis, 83, of Cumming, GA died on October 13, 2015 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Born in Titusville, PA he was the son of the late William and Adelaide Curtis.
William served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS Hornet CVA-12, and retired from Prudential Insurance after a 20 year career. He was a long-time member of Cumming Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Curtis of Cumming, GA; children, Mark Stephen (Tanya) Curtis of Alpharetta, GA and Diane Lynn (Robert) Millott of Cumming, GA; brother, John Curtis, James Curtis and Lawrence Curtis of Pennsylvania; sister, Jane Leon of Florida; and much-loved grandchildren, Susan Stewart, David Mason, Mark Curtis, Madison Curtis and Chase Brainard and great-grandchildren, Melissa Stewart, Johnny Stewart and Jack Mason.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Millott officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Gardens Mausoleum in Dade City, FL. on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
