New Cumming Dunkin-Baskin Robbins Location Opens For Business

The store, located on Old Atlanta Road, will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday and offers a drive-thru for mobile orders.

CUMMING, GA – A new Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins location will open for business on Saturday morning and will offer a free medium-sized coffee to guests as a way to celebrate the opening.

The new store, located at 3065 Old Atlanta Rd., will be open daily from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. daily and will employ 17 crew members, the company announced in a news release. The local franchisee, IDH LLC, operates 44 Dunkin’ locations throughout the state.

As part of Saturday's Opening Day festivities, the store will be giving away a free medium hot or iced coffee to guests from 5-10 a.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 9 a.m.

On Tuesday, IDH LLC will present a $1,000 check to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in conjunction with the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation.

The Cumming location is a 1,700 square-foot store that includes indoor and outdoor dining. The store also offers an exclusive On The Go drive-thru that that allows Dunkin’ Perks members that order ahead of time using the Dunkin’ mobile app to bypass the ordering line and continue straight to the pick-up window.

According to a news release, Dunkin’ is the first national restaurant brand to offer this type of drive-thru service. The location also offers an innovative tap system that serves consistently cold beverages including coffee, iced tea, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee, the company said. The location also offers free WiFi service to guests.

Dine-in service at Dunkin’ locations around the country has been suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has limited service to drive-thru and pick-up only.
