Night Work Set For State Route 53 Bridge on Wednesday
Crews will be building a new concrete support footing on the bridge in Forsyth and Hall counties.

CUMMING, GA — Department of Transportation contractors will be working Wednesday evening to build a concrete support footing on the State Route 53 Bridge in Forsyth and Hall counties.
Crews will begin traffic control a 7 p.m. and it will run until 6 a.m. Thursday. Single lane closures will be in effect beginning at Dogwood Trail and ending at Little Hall Park.
Flagging operators will be directing traffic and a pilot truck may also be used during parts of the overnight construction work.

Motorists are asked to slow to the posted 35 m.p.h. while in the work zone, the DOT said.
