Patrick O'Rourke Throws First Perfect Game for Berry Baseball
The 2019 graduate of Pinecrest Academy was a four-year starter for the Paladins, holding numerous season and career records as a pitcher.

Patrick O'Rourke '19, a sophomore pitcher on the Berry College Baseball team, threw the first Perfect Game in Berry history on Saturday, March 6, 2021, with Berry beating Millsaps 13-0. This is an amazing feat, since last year, O’Rourke broke a finger on his pitching hand, had to have surgery before baseball season started, and had no play time in 2020.
This Perfect Game "first" in Berry Baseball history has only happened 23 times in Major League Baseball history.
Currently O’Rourke is 2-0 on the season and has 25 strikeouts and only 2 walks in 21 innings pitched. The Vikings are 4-1 in games that O’Rourke has pitched.
