Dr. Lindekugel will share Pinecrest’s mission, which is to provide quality Catholic education while fostering integrally formed Christian leaders. This mission is pursued through the development of the whole person – called Integral Formation -- encompassing the commitment to teach, to educate, and to form:
- To teach the mind, transmitting knowledge appropriate to grade level in an environment of academic excellence
- To educate the heart, helping each student to love authentic values and to develop a sense of what is good, noble, just, and beautiful
- To form the character, which serves as the foundation of all virtue and integrity
Built upon the Christian view of the person, Integral Formation focuses on forming all dimensions of the person: intellectual, human, spiritual, and apostolic, achieving the complete formation of the student. Educators at Pinecrest Academy seek to help students know Christ, encounter Christ, and love Christ in service to others. The school’s motto is Semper Altius, which means “Always Higher.”
