Pinecrest Academy’s Dr. Lindekugel Speaks at Annual Blue Ribbon Conference
Private Catholic School's Headmaster Invited to Speak on "Servant Leadership in the 21st Century School"

Pinecrest Academy Headmaster, Dr. Ed Lindekugel, was selected as a guest speaker at the 17th Annual National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Conference in Orlando, Florida, November 29-December 2, 2016. This event provides a forum for administrators at Blue Ribbon Schools to share models of excellence, as well as best practices, in key areas.
Nearly 600 educators attended the conference, and 70 presentations were given by National Blue Ribbon Schools and Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Lighthouse winners.
As a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School, Pinecrest Academy was identified as having a "best practice" in one or more of the following areas, resulting in an invitation to submit a proposal to present at the conference:

Pinecrest's proposal to present at the Conference was accepted out of hundreds submitted, and Dr. Lindekugel was invited to present on “Servant Leadership in the 21st Century School.” This opportunity was a tremendous honor for both Dr. Lindekugel and Pinecrest Academy.

Said Judith Warden, EdD, CEO of Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, Inc. prior to the conference, "A strong school leader must actively work to develop leadership skills on their campus with teachers, students and staff. We are excited to announce Edward Lindekugel, Headmaster of Pinecrest Academy, will present on Servant Leadership in the 21st Century School at the National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Conference. Headmaster Lindekugel is a proven and effective leader, and we look forward to his presentation."

Pinecrest Academy was named a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and was among less than one percent of the 132,183 schools in the nation to receive this honor in 2014, and one of just 50 private schools to be recognized. Additionally, Pinecrest was the only recognized PreK-12 school in the State of Georgia in 2014.
