Pinecrest Senior Accepted to UGA Honors Program

Pinecrest Academy Senior, Matthew Bernet, has received admission to the University of Georgia, along with acceptance into the 2017 Honors Program first-year class.

Acceptance to the Honors Program at UGA is very selective. The program seeks applicants with a strong balance of academic achievement in challenging curricula, supported by success on either the SAT or ACT.

Enrollment in the Honors Program offers small classes and seminars to facilitate meaningful interaction with top faculty members, as well as key programming beyond the classroom such as internship, study abroad, and civic engagement opportunities.
