Single Lane Closed on GA 53 Between Forsyth-Hall Counties

CUMMING, GA — A single lane of Ga. 53 is being closed down Thursday, as workers replace the bridge that takes the highway from Foryth to Hall County.

Flagging operators are guiding traffic around the construction, which began at 11 a.m. and is scheduled to run through 2 p.m.

The single-lane closure is in effect from Dogwood Trail to Little Hall Park.

Motorists are asked to slow to the posted 35 m.p.h. speed limit while in the work zone.
