Training Exercise in Progress Near High School
Sheriff's deputies are asking motorists not to slow down and interfere with the regular flow of traffic while the exercise is ongoing.

Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies are participating in an all-day training exercise across the street from Lambert High School on Nichols Road, according to the sheriff’s office.
The training exercise may be responsible for making loud noises from time to time, the sheriff’s office said on Facebook Tuesday morning. The sheriff’s office expects the exercise will be wrapped up by “the late afternoon or early evening.”
Motorists driving through the area are urged not to slow down or stop to observe the training exercise, as doing so is dangerous for other drivers.
