Lanier Islands on Saturday is kicking off "Game Day Lanier," which they say is bound to become a new tradition in tailgaiting.

Barbecue, burgers and, yes, cocktails, will be on the menu for patrons to enjoy while they curl their toes in the sand beachside and check out the game on a five-story high screen.

Game Day Lanier begins this Saturday with the Georgia-Ole Miss matchup.

Throughout the football season, various NCAA and NFL games will be featured.

In addition to football, food and adult beverages, the events will feature kids games and activities, including inflatables.
