What's Open, Closed In Cumming For July 4, 2020

CUMMING, GA — Fourth of July is slated to look different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Cumming's fireworks may still be happening this weekend, but other offices and services will be impacted by the holiday.

Because July 4 falls on a Saturday, the Independence Day holiday is observed on Friday, July 3. Forsyth County government offices will be closed, and other services will have schedule changes. Many services are already affected by the pandemic.

• City of Cumming: City of Cumming facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
• Forsyth County government offices: Forsyth County offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the 4th of July holiday. Many government buildings and offices have been closed to the public since earlier this year. See services available for residents online.

• Forsyth County Animal Shelter will be closed July 3 and 4

• Libraries: The Forsyth County Public Library will be closed July 4 for both in-branch services and curbside pickup.
