Wrestling Fundamentals Camp Welcomes Aspiring Wrestlers

Pinecrest Academy will host a Wrestling Fundamentals Camp the week of July 11-13, 2017, from 1-4pm, for children in 1st-8th grades. The goal of this camp is to expose young aspiring wrestlers to the thrill and excitement of the "Oldest Sport on Earth", the sport of wrestling. Campers will be coached on the basic building blocks and fundamentals of wrestling rules, techniques and movements. They will be instructed by seasoned Pinecrest Varsity wrestlers and coaches on how to score and work moves on opponents, as well as drills and live matches at the end for those who are ready. The counselors will include fun activities and games that emphasize balance and quickness to supplement traditional wrestling learning.
