Burglary Victim Says Son’s Friend May Have Stolen Ring

A high school graduation ring appeared to be the only item stolen during a recent burglary at a Braselton Highway residence.

The complainant reported the ring, which belonged to one of her sons, was stolen from her jewelry box in her bedroom sometime between the hours of 9 a.m. July 15 and 7 a.m. July 26. She told police she believed another son’s friend was responsible. That son was incarcerated at the Gwinnett County Jail at the time of the burglary.

A resident of Barimore Place reported July 24 that a leaf blower had been stolen from a storage shed. A lock had been removed and the door to the shed was left open. No other items were reported missing.
