
Interested in calligraphy? Head to the Buford branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library on Jan. 21 to watch a special demonstration by local calligrapher Maria Turk.
Turk, a member of the International Associate of Master Penman, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting and member of Friends of the Alphabet Calligraphy Guild of Atlanta, will demonstrate the art of calligraphy and will answer questions from art enthusiasts of all ages.
The free event runs from 2-4 p.m. and is open to the public.
