The Christmas tree lighting in historic downtown Dacula on  Monday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
During the event, Miss Junior Dacula Reba Shelby Jack and other Miss Dacula pageant representatives will be collecting used and new children's books for the Boys and Girls Club. Visit the Miss Dacula booth to donate books and to write letters to troops stationed overseas.
In the event of inclement weather, the tree lighting ceremony may be delayed or canceled. Visit the City of Dacula website for more information.
