Free Financial Workshop for Women Set for May 18

Country Financial's Judy Hemple, Jessica Hughes will host a workshop geared towards helping women understand,control their financial future.

From Javan Marketing: A local Hamilton Mill business owner is offering expertise to women for free this month at The Hamilton Mill Golf and Country Club.

Judy Hemple, along with Jessica Hughes, both of COUNTRY Financial®, are hosting a complimentary workshop geared specifically toward helping women understand and gain control of their financial future.

“About 90 percent of women will be responsible for their own finances at some point in their lives,” Hughes said. “We can help you determine what track you should be on to meet your financial goals.”

It does not matter what stage of life you’re in, the workshop will cover everything from the importance of credit, preparing for the unexpected, putting money to work, building a nest egg for retirement, maximizing Social Security benefits and facing financial hardships.

The event also will include information on insurance offerings and what it can do for you.

“Most people in today’s society do not plan for the unexpected,” Hemple said. “Whether you are married, single, divorced, a business owner, single parent, homemaker or retired, this workshop will have something to offer you.”

The event will be held Thursday, May 18 at noon at The Golf and Country Club at Hamilton Mill, 1995 Hamilton Mill Parkway, Dacula, Ga. 30019. Lunch will be provided.
