Remote Or In-Person Class Choice For Spring Opens Next Week
Starting on Oct. 28, Gwinnett parents can choose remote or in-person learning for their children for the coming spring semester.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Now that they’ve had fall semester to try it out, Gwinnett County parents will soon get to choose whether their children will learn in-person or remotely for this spring.
From Oct. 28 through Nov. 15, parents of Gwinnett County Public Schools students can choose an in-person or digital option for spring semester, according to The Gwinnett Daily Post.
As much as anything, the choice will be an opportunity to get more parents to use the online portal system, associate superintendent Steve Flynt told the Gwinnett County school board on Oct. 15.

“We’re going to start by marketing that, making sure people know how to get their (parent portal) account and how to get their information for their students,” Flynt said, as reported by the Gwinnett newspaper.
Flynt said also that he expects parents to choose educational options for the whole spring semester, not just for part of it.
