What's Open, Closed In Dacula On Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The county health department will be closed but the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered Monday to individuals who have appointments.
DACULA, GA — While there won't be a parade and other festivities celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day this year, the holiday will still impact things like mail delivery. Many government services are already affected by coronavirus closures.
- Government offices: All Gwinnett County services — except those required for public safety, such as law enforcement and fire and rescue — will be closed Monday. City of Dacula offices also will be closed Monday.
- Libraries: Gwinnett County libraries will be closed Monday.
- Health services: Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale County Health Departments will be closed Monday. The COVID-19 vaccine, however, will be administered Monday to individuals who have vaccination appointments.
- Animal shelter: The Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Center will be closed Monday.
