Chattahoochee Tech Students Return To The Classroom

Some programs are completely online during the pandemic while others are in person.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Students at the Paulding Campus of Chattahoochee Technical College have returned to the classroom for the spring semester. As one of eight campuses serving six counties, there are approximately 500 students at the local campus. More than 8,000 students are enrolled at the technical college in all.

More than 6,000 students registered to take at least one online course. Some programs are completely online during the pandemic, including accounting, business management, business technology, criminal justice technology, logistics and supply chain management, and marketing management.

“The college remains strong in its commitment to a safe and healthy educational environment while continuing to provide a quality education for our students,” Chattahoochee Tech Vice President for Advancement Jennifer Nelson said in a statement. “We are working diligently to keep our students on their educational path toward graduation.”

The Chattahoochee Tech 2021 spring semester enrollment also includes 1,333 high school dual- enrollment students, representing more than 15 percent of the college’s total student enrollment. Many of these high school students are enrolled in workforce development programs that provide training in some of the nation’s fastest growing, high demand career fields.


A unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, Chattahoochee Tech is the largest technical college in the state with eight campus locations serving the counties of Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding and Pickens.
