City Of Hiram: Sgt. Tyler Third Recognized For Application Of CIT Training

During the July 6, 2021 Regular Session meeting of the Mayor and Council, Sgt. Tyler Third received a commendation from Chief Michael Turner for diffusing a potentially violent situation.  Sgt. Third applied his CIT (crisis intervention team) training during an arrest that occurred in May of 2019 and was able to avoid injury to himself or others.
