Come Act and Learn This Summer

The Dallas Theatre is offering a drama camp for kids this summer.

The summer drama camp is comprised of one week of theater instruction in the areas of movement, understanding dialogue and scripts, understanding and application of theatrical terminology, acting, understanding and creating characters, theme/plot, costumes, stagecraft, conflict, and theatrical traditions. 

Drama Camp is held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily for one week. Mornings are dedicated to performance activities and lessons, and afternoons are dedicated to show rehearsal. Campers will act in a culminating performance for friends/family on Friday of camp week.  We also offer a half day camp for 5 to 6-year-olds. 

 April 1st, Monday Drama Camp Registration Begins

• June 3rd-7th and 10th-14th– Drama Camp ages 7-9
• June 17th-21st– Drama Camp ages 5-6
• June 24th-28th– Drama Camp ages 10-12
• July 8th-12th-Drama Camp ages 10-12
• July 22nd-26th– Drama Camp ages 13-15

1/2 day (9a-12p) camp ages 5-6year-olds

$110, June 17th-21st

Full day (9a-3p) camp ages 10-12yrs
$150
June 24th-28th or July 8th-12th

You MUST register at the Theater Box Office located at 208 Main Street Dallas, 30132. Box Office hours are Mon/Thurs/Fri 3-6pm and Sat 10am-2pm.

A $50 NONREFUNDABLE deposit is due at the time of registration and $100 balance due the first day of camp.
