Coronavirus Closes Paulding County Schools

Students will use online learning while schools are closed. The SAT scheduled for March 14 at East Paulding High School has been canceled.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Paulding County School District officials announced Thursday that all Paulding County schools will be closed starting March 16 until further notice. Officials anticipate that the closure will last at least two weeks and they hope to reopen schools March 30.

All school-related activities and events that occur starting March 13 and that are planned for when school is closed are cancelled. Learning Bridge after-school program will close after March 13.

"Even though there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in Paulding County at this time, we believe this decision is the most prudent step to protect the health and well-being of our students and staff, and that is our highest concern," school officials stated.
