Costco Breaks Ground On New Paulding County Location
The new Costco in Dallas is expected to open in the spring of 2021.

DALLAS, GA—The world’s second largest retailer is coming to Paulding County. On Thursday, county leaders and Costco representatives broke ground on the newest location in Dallas.
“We, Paulding Countians, have experienced many times driving to Cobb County or other counties in order to buy the needed things. Will it not be great, will it not be fantastic to have cars from Cobb County come to the Paulding County Costco?” Commission Chairman Dave Carmichael said during the groundbreaking ceremony.
The popular retailer will be situated near Charles Hardy Parkway, just east of Gerber Collision & Glass. The retailer first submitted plans in mid-2018 for a store on the site. Thursday's groundbreaking was a sign of progress for county leaders and residents.

We have over 3,000 employees now in the state of Georgia," Yoram Rubanenko, Costco's senior VP/GM for the southeast region, said. “I cannot tell you how delighted we are to be coming to Paulding County. We’re thrilled and will be even more thrilled approximately a year from now when our doors will open right behind us."
