Dallas resident Caleb Lee Hutchinson appeared again on American Idol Sunday night and sang Thomas Rhett's "Die A Happy Man."

DALLAS, GA — South Paulding High School graduate Caleb Lee Hutchinson appeared again on American Idol Sunday night and got to meet season 11 American Idol contestant and winner Scotty McCreery.

Hutchinson was talking about his love for McCreery when he was surprised by the star walking in the room to meet him. The former winner talks to Hutchinson about country music and tells him to just take a breather and he will do fine. Hutchinson goes on to sing Thomas Rhett's “Die A Happy Man” while playing his acoustic guitar. Judge Lionel Richie was impressed by his voice and Judge Luke Bryan told him to keep delivering his style. Hutchinson ends the segment talking about how he lost 70 pounds by drinking water and taking walks and Judge Katy Perry said she loves him for it.

Hutchinson made it to the top 24 two weeks ago with his touching performance of "I was wrong," by Chris Stapleton.
