Dallas 'Idol' Star Makes Top 10 With Strong Performance: WATCH

DALLAS, GA — Caleb Lee Hutchinson made it to the top 10 on American Idol Monday night and performed Chris Young’s song “Gettin You Home.” "Caleb Lee Hutchinson Music isn't going home anytime soon," Hutchinson proclaimed on his Facebook page.

A South Paulding High School graduate, Hutchinson hit lead-off on Sunday night's show with the first performance of the night, playing the banjo to try and stay alive in the competition. It was revealed voters sent him to the top 10 finalists on Monday night's show.

The top 10 finalists include:- Ada Vox- Cade Foehner- Caleb Lee Hutchinson- Catie Turner- Dennis Lorenzo- Gabby Barrett- Jurnee- Maddie Poppe- Michael J. Woodard- Michelle Sussett

The next show will be Sunday, April 29, at 8 p.m., where all viewers will be able to tune in and vote live at the same time, across the nation. This is a first in this kind of competition show.
