Dallas' own Caleb Lee Hutchinson brought his country style to "American Idol" with "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story.
DALLAS, GA — Dallas' own Caleb Lee Hutchinson delivered his personal country style to Randy Newman's "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story on Sunday's American Idol. The judges told him his Disney Night debut was a great choice.
America's vote was revealed Sunday as American Idol 2018 went live coast-to-coast and fans got their chance to vote for their favorite contestants to move forward in the competition. Hutchinson made it to the top seven. This week, it was Disney Night, with each of the American Idol 2018 Top 10 contestants performing a classic Disney song after getting mentored by the legendary Idina Menzel. Judges Katy Perry, who dressed as Snow White, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan helped celebrate the Disney magic and give analysis after each performance.
Ryan Seacrest said the voting was so tight that the difference between two of the contestants was .19 percent.
