Dallas Motorcyclist Killed in Tennessee

He was riding along a popular spot for motorcyclists known as the "Dragon."

A 46-year-old Dallas motorcyclist died Saturday night in Tennessee.

Patrick Brian Noll was riding along a popular spot for motorcyclists known as the "Dragon" when he may have passed a slower bike, Blount County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Marian O’Briant told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

After the rear wheel locked and the motorcycle went into a straight line skid, Noll was thrown from the motorcycle, struck a tree and went down an embankment, according to the AJC.

Noll was taken to Blount Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A retired U.S. Marine, Noll worked at the CDC as an inventory specialist, according to an obituary on the website of Hiram's Clark Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, which is at 4373 Atlanta Hwy. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the same location.
