Donald 'Ray' Buchanan, 65, Member of Hiram Church

Donald “Ray" Buchanan, age 65, of Franklin passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. He was born in Carrollton, Georgia on December 13, 1948 to the late Elbert and Essie Chaney Buchanan. He was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church in Hiram.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Buchanan and sister-in-law, Randa Buchanan.

He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Oliver Mooneyham of Douglasville and Diane and Larry Hubbard of Buchanan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Cochran Ridge Baptist Church in Hiram with Pastor Jeff Childers officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow the service in the Cochran Ridge Cemetery with Charles Hubbard, Christopher Bailey, Austin Bailey, Tommy Salls, Jimmy Buchanan and Keith Buchanan serving as Pallbearers and Howard Price serving as Honorary Pallbearer.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
