GA Coronavirus: Lower Numbers Coming Out of Weekend

Georgia's coronavirus numbers typically are lower after a weekend because of reporting lags. On Monday, Georgia reported 990 new cases.

ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia Department of Public Health in Atlanta reported a total of 387,930 confirmed cases of COVID-19 at 2:50 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16. According to the health department’s website, that includes 990 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours. In addition, Georgia reported 293 new antigen-positive cases over the last 24 hours, which are considered to be probable cases of COVID-19.
