GA's 'American Idol' Rumored To Be Singing Song For Mom Tonight

Spoiler alert. Caleb Lee Hutchinson, from Dallas, GA, is reportedly singing "Stars in Alabama," by Jamey Johnson, in honor of his mother.

HOLLYWOOD, CA – Georgia boy Caleb Lee Hutchinson, 19, will perform on "American Idol" tonight after making it to the final five contestants last week. It is rumored each contestant will sing a Carrie Underwood song and a special tune in honor of their mothers for Mother's Day.

Spoiler alert. Hutchinson, from Dallas, Georgia, is reportedly singing "So Small" by Idol alum Underwood and "Stars in Alabama" by Jamey Johnson, in honor of his mother.

Season 4 “Idol” winner, Underwood, will also perform Sunday.

In addition to Hutchinson, a South Paulding High School graduate, the four artists still in contention to win season 16 are: Gabby Barrett, Cade Foehner, Maddie Poppe and Michael J. Woodard.

Like on the Top 10 and Top 7 episodes, ABC is airing the May 13 show live nationwide. That means that everyone across the country gets to vote and see the results in real-time. The two-hour telecast, which kicks off at 8 p.m. ET, will end with the elimination of two artists like last week.

This year's winner will be awarded a recording contract with Hollywood Records and $250,000. Make sure to tune in next Sunday to see Dallas' own Hutchinson perform.
