Georgia Chapter of Trout Unlimited Holds Annual Trout Camp
Trout camp held in North Georgia for young fly fishers

Nineteen boys and five girls from all across Georgia recently participated in the 14th Annual Georgia Trout Camp, sponsored by Georgia Trout Unlimited. The camp took place at the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Clayton, GA.
The kids learned and practiced the sport of fly fishing, studied sound conservation practices, released 2,000 trout into the Tallulah River, and enjoyed a fun and rewarding camping experience. They received hands-on instruction from 34 members of Georgia Trout Unlimited and previous graduates of Georgia Trout Camp.
Camp partners included the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Forest Service.
Dallas resident Tripp Weaver represented the Cohutta Chapter of Georgia Trout Unlimited.
