Georgia Weather Forecast: A Warm, Then Stormy Weekend
Thunderstorms are expected to move into the metro Atlanta area by Saturday night and could pour on much of the day Sunday, forecasters say.

ATLANTA, GA — After a mostly rain-free week, metro Atlanta will be back to it's typical spring ways this weekend, when thunderstorms are forecast to roll back through the area.
There will be a slight chance of showers and storms Friday night into Saturday morning. But Saturday night is when the chance for thunderstorms really ramps up and, by Sunday, it's like we'll all be seeing and hearing some thunder and lightning.
Temperatures, at least, should cool off a little as a result. After a forecast high of 88 degrees on Saturday, Sunday is only expected to get up to 80 degrees.
